The KIC Workshop Series is the meeting place of the Center. Every other Friday afternoon from October to May, one research program hosts an afternoon at the Smilow Center for Translational Research: three talks from Penn, CHOP and invited guests, followed by an open discussion in which anyone can bring a question, a dataset or an unsolved patient. Trainees present next to senior faculty. The series ends with the annual KIC Research Day in May.
All are welcome: faculty, fellows, students, staff and colleagues from other departments. No registration is needed. Fridays, 2 to 5 PM, Smilow Center for Translational Research, Room 12-146, 3400 Civic Center Boulevard.
